Quality Price The Saki Katana Set is as professional as you can get. I’ve never worked with such great shears! I wasn’t convinced at first, when I saw the minimalist design, but after using them I knew I was holding a work of art in my hand. These shears are amazing to cut with and so accurate, they do most of the work for me! I love how the texturizing shears are able to get rid of bulk quickly. Great set! (Posted on 8/26/11)

Quality Price This is a great set of professional shears, and I wonder why it took me so long to find them. It seems you have to start with the worst and work your way up as you learn to be more careful and selective of your styling tools. With the Saki Katana set, I tried every technique, hand movement and style I could think of to test them out and they passed with flying colors. I wish I could have gotten a hold of this set sooner, it would have saved me a lot of pain and discomfort! (Posted on 8/26/11)

Quality Price I love the Saki Katana hairdressing scissor set. I’m a beginner and I went through a few additional styling courses recently and I desperately needed a good quality hair dressing set. My previous shears weren’t up to the type of work I was doing at the time and had to be replaced, but I was also in need of a pair of good thinning shears to, given the nature of the course. I searched online for positive reviews and professional shears and the only set that looked to me to be the best of the lot was the Saki Katana set. I’m not a professional yet, but if I were I think I would still have chosen this set. They look and feel very professional and they have really helped me through my course. The blades are sharper than any I have seen or used and they cut so accurately I don’t have to put any extra effort into each snip. I have yet to try out the thinning shears as I get further along in my courses but I’m certain they’ll work great. I hope this set will last me all through my courses until I get a job as a professional! They will really come in handy. (Posted on 8/26/11)

Quality Price When you’re a professional stylist, you need all the help you can get. You are on your feet all day, your hands are working all the time and they can get tired and cramped, so you have to choose your styling tools carefully if you want to do a good job and stay comfortable at the same time. It’s one of the reasons why I purchased the Saki Katana set, the general cutting shears cuts smoothly, the blades are super sharp and easily maintained. These scissors have been a big help in getting the job done quickly. Unlike many scissors you find, these ones are comfortable to use and don’t put a strain on your wrist and arm. Quality Price The Saki Katana Hairdressing Scissor set couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I had been longing for a good set of shears since my big disappointment with a set I had bought on discount earlier on. They didn’t turn out as good as I wanted but I had to suck it up since I had a job to do and I had no spare shears to work with. I ordered the Saki Katana set as soon as I had the means and resources to and my old set went bye-bye. I don’t regret a thing! Quality Price This set is excellent, very smooth working and functional. My only complaint is that it took a while to arrive after I ordered it online, but it has nothing to do with the product so I won’t include it in the rating. The shears themselves are top quality and extremely sharp. The hair shears are perfect for the salon because they manage heavy workloads. I haven’t tested out the thinning shears yet but I hope to. Quality Price I wasn’t too keen on this set when I ordered them, mostly because of how simple their design was. I had a flashier pair before, electric blue, and the Saki shears looked pretty dull next to my old ones. Of course I was only comparing appearances, I ordered the Saki Katana Set because it had what I needed and it had gotten lots of positive reviews. I was very pleased to find out that even though they weren’t funky or flashy, they worked just as well as, or even better than my old electric blue shears! (Posted on 8/24/11)

Quality Price I bought the Saki Set as a gift for a friend of mine who works in a salon nearby but it turned out that she already owned one exactly like it. I ended up buying her something else (a book) and left the set in a corner to think about what to do about it later. As fate would have it my own set fell into disrepair after many years of service and I remembered the extra Saki Katana set. I still remember thinking how lucky I was not to have given it away or returned it! I use each pair of shears every day and they’re really helped lighten the workload around the salon. The hairdressing shears cut super smoothly and the texturizing shears can remove a lot of unwanted bulk in one or two snips. I told my friend (the one I was going to give the set to) the entire story and she said she was glad someone else was enjoying the Saki set as much as she was. (Posted on 8/24/11)

Quality Price This set is great to work with, especially when there’s lots of cutting and layering to do. The hairdressing shears are nice and sharp so I don’t need to make any extra effort or cause cramps in my hand after long hours of snipping.
