Want to know what the best clip on hair extensions are to boost your hairstyles? Lots of women are using clip on hair extensions to gain instant length and volume, but not all clip ons are top quality. You get three different types: human hair, synthetic hair and a mixture of human and synthetic hair. Choosing the best type of clip ons will ensure that your styles conserve a natural look for longer. If you have a formal event like a prom or wedding where you need to look absolutely amazing, it’s a good idea to choose the best in order to stand out.

Synthetic hair in clip in extensions is much cheaper, but won’t allow for the same styling freedom as human hair ones. The artificial fibers used for synthetic hair have a different weight and consistency, so they don’t look as natural. You can’t heat style them, color them or wash them in the same way as human hair extensions because they can become damaged. The best clip on hair extensions are those made of high quality human hair that can be freely styled as if it were your own locks.

With human hair clip ons you get hair that is divided into various categories depending on their quality. With grade A hair, the highest, you obtain strands of the same length with the cuticles aligned to provide the most natural appearance. Next you have grades B and C which contain strands of different lengths, without cuticles and a t more reasonable prices than grade A hair, but of course the quality is less. The advantage of human hair clip ons is that you can style them any way you please without fear of damaging them. If you wish to flaunt fabulous styles, you need to be prepared to spend on the best clip on hair extensions that uses premium quality hair and nothing less.

If your hair is short or fine and needs that little extra boost in length or volume, then you should try hair extensions. Hair extensions are the best way to create that much needed fullness without your styles looking tacky or artificial. However, you do need to choose a good quality set of hair extensions to accomplish this and wow everyone with the fabulousness of your styles.

Clip in hair extensions are an affordable and effective way of creating the illusion of body and length in your looks, but what are the best clip in hair extensions to use?

With clip in hair extensions, you get wefts of hair that are lined with comb-like clips along the top. These clips latch onto your natural hair easily and can be removed when the style is no longer needed. Different types of clip in hair extensions provide different results, for example, synthetic clip ins are cheaper but the result won’t be as amazing as if you were to use natural clip in extensions.

The best clip in hair extensions are those that use quality human hair in each weft. Only this ensures that your styles will look absolutely natural and utterly fab. Human hair clip in extensions have a lot of advantages. For one thing you can style the hair as easily as your own, unlike synthetic hair extensions which have a different weight and consistency. With quality human hair you are able to blow dry, straighten, curl, wash, cut and color the extensions to your heart’s content (as long as it looks good). The higher the quality of hair, the longer the clip ins will last and the better the results will be.

Of course, you need to take into account that high quality human hair clip in extensions are pricier than others so be prepared to invest!

Looking After Your Clip-in Hair Extensions

Clip in hair extensions are a cheap, temporary way to obtain more volume and length without resorting to time-consuming extension application at the salon. Clip in hair extensions are also healthier for your hair, since there’s no glue or bonding involved, just firm clips.

There are two different types of clip in hair extensions, synthetic and natural. Natural clip in extensions are more expensive but last a lot longer than synthetic ones, plus the look they create is much more unique. Natural clip in hair extensions are made with human hair, but to get them to last longer, you need to do some maintenance. Fortunately there’s not much to it! Here’s how:

1. Comb your extensions with a comb or brush to get the knots and tangles out.

2. Wash your extensions. Since they’re made with human hair you can basically treat them as you would your own locks, with wetting them with warm water and using shampoo. Don’t be too rough, you can simply comb the shampoo or product through with your fingers. Rinse the shampoo out normally.

3. Use some conditioner on the extensions, this makes them easier to untangle once they’re dry, plus it gives them a nice shine and softness. Rinse out the conditioner and untangle them with a comb once they have dried.

4. You can leave them in the sun to dry, or you can gently blow dry them if you’re in a rush. Don’t blow dry too often, you can make the hair fall out faster. Try to avoid brushing the extensions when they’re wet.

5. If you’re going to straighten the hair extensions, or style them in any way using a heat tool, make sure they are 100% human hair.

6. It isn’t necessary to wash them each night, you can make the hair fall out faster that way. Once a week or once every two weeks should be enough to keep them clean. Wash the extensions in a bath or sink, or if you have a detachable shower head, use that.

7. Comb the extensions once you’ve taken them out because it will be more difficult to untangle them afterwards.

This type of maintenance is suitable for human hair clip in extensions like Easy Clips, there’s different care required for other types of hair extensions.
